NCAC Grant Program

Since 1977, the North Carolina Arts Council’s Grassroots Arts Program has provided North Carolina citizens access to quality arts experiences. The program distributes funds for the arts in all 100 counties of the state primarily through partnerships with local arts councils. The Sampson Arts Council serves as the N.C. Arts Council’s partner in awarding subgrants to local organizations for arts programs in Sampson County. Visit NCAC's website for more information.

Logo & Credit Requirements & Resources

All recipients of Grassroots Arts Program funding must prominently display both the Sampson Arts Council logo and the North Carolina Arts Council logo with the required credit line on all printed and digital promotional materials related to the funded project. This includes flyers, posters, programs, websites, social media posts, and event signage.

If you use a version of the North Carolina Arts Council logo without the built-in credit line, you must include the following wording alongside it: “This project was supported by the North Carolina Arts Council, a division of the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources.”

Digital uses of the North Carolina Arts Council logo must link to NCArts.org. Please also use the hashtag #NCArts in your social media posts. Your use of these logos acknowledges the support of both the Sampson Arts Council and the N.C. Arts Council and helps recognize the investment made by the North Carolina General Assembly. Logo files and variations are available below for your convenience.
