Does your child crave creative expression? Look no further than Sampson Arts Council's Summer Art Camp! We offer a variety of art camps for grades 1-12 in June and July. Space is limited, so register today to reserve your spot!

Under the Sea invites rising 1-6 graders to explore the wonders of the ocean through creativity! From colorful sea creatures to mysterious sunken ships, campers will bring the beauty of marine life to life through painting, drawing, sculpting, and more. Dive into a week of artistic discovery, where imagination flows as deep as the sea. Join us for an unforgettable underwater adventure filled with ocean-inspired art and endless fun!

 This camp is currently full. We are accepting names for the waitlist for future registrations. If your student has received a scholarship, you may still complete registration here.

Step right up for the most vibrant, fun-filled art experience of the summer! Color Carnival is a celebration of all things bright, bold, and creative.

Rising 1-6 graders are invited on an exciting artistic adventure, exploring a kaleidoscope of colors through drawing, painting, collage, and more. Get ready to unleash your imagination and bring your artwork to life in this lively and inspiring camp. Let the creativity begin!

Pottery Camp: June 23-26

Potter and students

This exciting Pottery Camp for rising 3-6 graders will explore American Indian culture and history through the art of pottery. Guided by Native American potter Senora Lynch, they will learn traditional pottery-making techniques, including kneading and shaping clay, rolling it into slabs, and creating slip for painting. Each student will design a unique clay plaque featuring a turtle motif, using etching techniques to bring their patterns to life. Once completed, these beautifully crafted plaques will be ready to hang and display as a meaningful piece of art.

 This camp is currently full for grades 3-5. We are accepting names for the waitlist for future registrations.


However, registration is still open for GRADE 6.

Printmaking

Mixed Media Magic invites rising 7-12 graders to explore a variety of artistic mediums, techniques, and styles while having a blast in the process! From printmaking and tie-dye to sculpture and beyond, campers will create multiple projects that allow them to develop their artistic skills. Guided by an experienced instructor, students will discover and refine their unique artistic voice while completing pieces they can proudly share and display.
